Made some ice cream with the ice cream maker we got for a wedding present today. I think we used it once before, just putting yoghourt in, but this time I made some apple puree, added double cream and sugar, whipped it up in the blender (bit silly, as I couldn’t pour it, but then maybe it put a bit of air in) and put it in. Very tasty. Perhaps a bit too rich, but easier than faffing with egg custards.
