My old school feastday.  We always used to have a big mass, and everybody had dinner: chips (always too greasy, because of their being a hundred people to cater for), with meatballs in tomato sauce, and the last tangerines of the season; tangerines only used to happen at winter in those day, the first came out at St Nicholas.  There may have been a treasure hunt in the afternoon, or we might have been sat in the hall watching Pollyanna.  One year there was a staff panto, which was my favourite year.
