I used Tesco’s finest traditionally smoked undyed haddock, and got John to pick out the bones.  I also got John to cook the pancakes, which is cheating, and served up the fish (poached in mik), the cheese sauce (made with the fishy milk) and some parsley separately, for instant rolling and eating of pancakes.  Sam had the fish and the cheese sauce, but only one pancake: Hannah declined the cheese sauce but ate another (smaller) pancake with some more fish.  They liked it!  They liked the smoked haddock!  It was very extremely tasty.
