Hooray for: charity, almsgiving, serving, pedicures, footbaths

Semantics: if you wanted, you could discuss how the word ‘supper’ has been kept in the name of the event we are celebrating, when to a great many people, supper is the milk and biscuits (or breakfast cereal) you might have before you go to bed.
Food: lamb, bitter herbs, unleavened bread
Drink: wine. Ribena does not count.

Music: Pange lingua, or its translation.  I do like the plainchant tune, but of course they only do the English tune in our church.
