which you can read up for yourself.   Quite a popular patron saint, and one of the foreign imports we enjoy here in England.  This year, the Lees Community Associaion have arranged some kind of competition through the schools.  Sam had to make a piece of art, craft or poetry of ‘dragon’, and chose to make a clay model of a dragon. Which he then painted.  He has won a prize, and there is to be a fancy presentation event, with entertainment and afternoon tea tomorrow.  I am very proud, and quite excited.

Boo to: dragons
Hooray for: rescuing damsels in distress
Music: When a knight won his spurs, which we sang in one of my primary schools.
Food: definitely a cake day.  I usually go ‘English’ and make a Victoria sponge.  Also, beer, etc.
Flowers: red roses
