Translated, meaning the body of Christ, and a celebration of the Holy Eucharist.  We were carefully taught that it is ‘the body, blood, soul and divinity of Christ’, which is a lot to take in sometimes.
At school, we used to have a special mass, with children making their first communion, a picnic (because the first communicants were having a special lunch) and a Corpus Christi procession with Benediction.  Nowadays, we don’t even celebrate it on the proper day, but have moved it the Sunday following.
Ho hum.

Colours: gold, white
Food: bread, wine
Music: there are a lot of ‘trad’ hymns, but we had only This is My Body’ and ‘Gifts of bread and wine’, which wasn’t the same somehow.
