Which I thought the children might like to help to make, but they didn’t. Anyway, had walnuts in as well, probably making it a variation of Waldorf, and both vinaigrette and mayonnaise, and a ‘garnish’ of watercress as well. I like watercress but John doesn’t, so he could help himself to some without the watercress. I served it with pizza. Sam ate some and said he liked it but didn’t like the walnuts. Hannah wouldn’t look at it.
Today is crafty.
In the morning, there is WeeBees, which had junk modelling (robots), mask decorating, and baking (apple flapjacks), and a tuck shop (crisps).
In the afternoon, there is the Art Gallery, with more junk modelling, magnet clip making (colouring) and pom-pom creatures. Hannah’s is a spider.
After that, we read some books in Oldham library, and got to Sainsbury’s, for the cafe, and to pick up some shopping.
