Which I made with bought chicken stock, an onion, a teaspoon of nutmeg, 9 oz of frozen leaf spinach (as it came) and 5 oz of peeled and cored end-of-season cox apples. The whole finished in a blender.
It doesn’t look much, does it? A thick, sludgy, dark green soup. However, it tastes delicious; the apples add tangy apple flavour, the nutmeg adds warm spiciness, and the soup is rich and creamy in texture.
