These breadsticks have sesame seeds in the dough and were glazed with a bit of egg yolk and sprinkled with more sesame seeds. The recipe called for dried yeast (my favourite type) but just said to dissolve it in water. Most recipes call for a pinch of sugar, to feed the yeast, so I added one. Shaping the sticks was a bit fiddly, even though all I had to do was roll a rectangle and cut it up (not my strong points), but the finished product is delicious.
